This is the new Dragon steel that was made for me by Mark Giles at Star Guitars in Texas.

We sent them the Claro Walnut for the body.  Most Steels are built with maple.

They sent us the body and neck.  I inlaid the Fret Board on the neck with White MOP, Paua Abalone and Red Abalone Heart.

We took the body to our workshop in Viet Nam.  There, our best inlay artist (Diep) did all the special inlays including the Dragon on the front apron and my Name Logo.

After all the inlay work was finished we sent the guitar back to Star Guitars where Mark and his partner finished the instrument.

It is a real joy to play and to own.

It has 10 Strings, 4 pedals and 5 knee levers tuned to the standard "Nashville E9th"...
